THE CHAMPAGNE PRODUCER DE CASTELLANE WAS FOUNDED IN 1895 IN ÉPERNAY. ITS CUVÉE IS COMMODORE.
DE CASTELLANE BELONGS TO THE LAURENT-PERRIER FAMILY GROUP.
Champagne de Castellane bears the name of one of the oldest families in France, descended from the 10th century from the Comtes d'Arles and the Comtes de Provence. In 1895, Viscount Florens de Castellane founded the Champagne House in Epernay. A forward-thinking, innovative man, he chose for his noble Champagne a trademark: the red cross of Saint-André, a tribute to the ancient flag of the Champagne regiment. Soon, the house gained a great name in the world of champagne through constant quality, fidelity to tradition and creativity - inseparable from Epernay, the capital of Champagne. During the "Belle Epoque", the House de Castellane blossomed into a well-known and appreciated company. Its champagne was the companion of many prestigious celebrations and events of the 20th century. Today the house belongs to the Laurent- Perrier group of the Nonancourt family, but it has fully preserved its autonomy and identity.
