Riceys Rosé

Rosé des Riceys is a still rosé wine which comes from the commune of Les Riceys in the Aube region. It is made exclusively with Pinot Noir vines. However, this rosé is not a Coteaux Champenois, but is honored according to its name as an appellation in its own right. It is considered an excellent wine, which is produced in relatively small quantities and only by a few winegrowers in the area. Almost without exception, they ultimately present themselves to the connoisseur as particularly fruity, very aromatic and elegant wines, which already inspired centuries ago, among others, the King Louis XIV.
